Ram Works

The Ram Works condominiums are located along with beautiful South River in Waynesboro, Virginia.  The Ram Works Unit Owners Association, Inc. was founded in 2010. Our development has a total of 70 units divided between 8 buildings.

History of Ram Works

Rife Ram Works located upstream from the (then) Chestnut Ave. bridge (late 1800's). The hydraulic ram used no electric power & was eventually replaced by electrically driven pumps. This factory complex housed a foundry, machine shop, pattern shop, assembly room, shipping, and stables. It experienced many fires & rebuildings. The last fire was in 1973. Plant activities were transferred to Virginia Metalcrafters, Inc. on E. Main Street, 1971. The previous site is now home to the Ram Works condos.
